Nike takes gold in the most resold brand in the world
NIKE a USD38billion brand - RM158billion
Spend RM1million a day for 432 years. That is what RM158billion is.
In an analysis done by
SaveOnEnergy on popular fashion websites like Depop, eBay, Asos Marketplace, Etsy and many more - Nike holds the crown as the most resold brand in the world. Leading the count at a staggering 1.16 million listings in total in these resale platforms as reported in The Fashion Law.
This comes as no surprise with the majority of listings being sneakers, the Nike brand is arguably the most iconic brand in the street wear scene. Nike collabs has always been a hot item targeted by sneaker-heads from Off-White to Dior.
Nike has been hitting all the right notes ever since the 80's, from futuristic shoes featured in Back to the Future 2, to the successful Air Jordan brand, and the still immensely popular dunks series. Nike shows no sign of stopping exploring new concepts, new styles, new materials.
One can only imagine what the designers at Nike are cooking up next their labs. Flying shoes?
